Lafia To Host Wadada Leadership Summit On Sunday

Preparations are in top gear for the Lafia Friends of Wadada Leadership Summit, a forum designed to promote purposeful leadership and stimulate discussions on the future development of Nasarawa State.
Chairman of the Planning Committee, Hon. Ibrahim Hamza, expressed confidence that the summit would provide valuable insights into effective leadership while contributing to ongoing conversations on the state’s progress under the leadership ideals of Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu in 2027.
Speaking in an interview in Lafia on Thursday, Hamza, who is Permanent Member I of the Nasarawa State Revenue Service, described the summit as a gathering that will bring together leaders, professionals, stakeholders and residents of Lafia to deliberate on issues of leadership, governance and development.
He said the event would focus on the leadership philosophy and public service record of Distinguished Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Magajin Dangin Lafia, with the aim of inspiring participants to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Nasarawa State.
According to him, the summit is expected to serve as a platform for fostering unity, encouraging collaboration and promoting collective efforts toward building a stronger and more progressive state.
Hamza, who also holds the traditional title of Karfen Dawaki of Lafia, called on members of the public to attend the event and take advantage of the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and network with prominent personalities from various sectors.
The summit is being organised by the Friends Forever Group, Lafia, and is scheduled to be held on Sunday at De 1st Crown Luxury Hotel, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
He explained that the event would feature interactive sessions aimed at promoting visionary leadership and strengthening public participation in the development of Nasarawa State.
