Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu and APC governorship candidate in Nasarawa state has described the newly launched book, Disruptive Governance: Tips, Tools and Tactics for Delivering Timely and Transformational Results, by Dr. Murtala Adogi Mohammed as a timely contribution to the discourse on governance, accountability and institutional performance in Nigeria.
Wadada said the book challenges leaders and institutions to move beyond intentions and rhetoric towards a culture of measurable performance, accountability and results.
The Senator made the remarks yesterday while attending the 50th birthday celebration and book launch of Dr. Adogi Mohammed, a distinguished member of his think tank and intellectual partner in the development of the Wadada HEARTS Agenda.
According to him, the occasion was an opportunity to celebrate not only Dr. Adogi Mohammed’s milestone but also his contributions to knowledge, public policy, institutional development and the pursuit of better governance.
Wadada commended the author for bringing considerable intellectual depth to discussions on the future of Nasarawa State, noting that his contributions to the HEARTS Agenda underscore the importance of combining sound ideas, evidence-based policies and practical solutions to address the challenges facing the people.
He described Disruptive Governance as a valuable addition to the broader national conversation on how to build effective institutions and strengthen public leadership.
“For me, the publication is a valuable contribution to the broader national conversation on how we build institutions that work, strengthen public leadership and ultimately translate governance into tangible improvements in the lives of our citizens,” Wadada said.
The Senator congratulated Dr. Adogi Mohammed on attaining the age of 50 and commended him for using the occasion to make an important intellectual contribution to the debate on governance and development.
He wished the celebrant greater wisdom, renewed strength and more opportunities to contribute to the development of Nasarawa State, Nigeria and humanity.
“Happy 50th Birthday, Dr. Murtala Adogi Mohammed. Congratulations on this remarkable milestone and on the launch of Disruptive Governance,” Wadada added.
