Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State was agog as thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) trooped out for a solidarity rally, where the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, SAN, received a rousing welcome from his people.

The rally witnessed the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC governorship candidate for Nasarawa State, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada; Dr. Faisal Shuaib, candidate for Nasarawa West Senatorial District; Hon. Yerima Albasheer, candidate for Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency; Hon. Saad Ibrahim Abdullahi, candidate for Ugya/Umaisha and Hon. Murtala Musa Amat, candidate for Toto/Gadabuke Constituency.

In recognition of his contributions to the growth of the party, the APC Local Government Executive Committee and ward executives presented an Award of Excellence to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Addressing the crowd, the SSG disclosed that Governor Abdullahi A. Sule has approved the construction of a road linking Angwan Zakaran Chiji, St. Peter and Eight Man Quarters in Toto worth millions of naira.

He also reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to completing the Toto Mini Stadium, the bypass road, and the Toto Modern Market before the expiration of its tenure, while assuring that efforts would be sustained to secure more pensionable jobs for youths in the state.

Highpoint of the rally was the disbursement of ₦25 million to 500 widows across Toto Local Government Area, with each beneficiary receiving ₦50,000.

The rally ended with a unanimous endorsement of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada for governor in the 2027 general elections.
