

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, on Thursday joined other prominent stakeholders from Nasarawa State at a strategic meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja ahead of Saturday’s North Central Grassroots Mobilization Movement Mega Grand Rally in Lafia.
The meeting, held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, formed part of ongoing preparations for the rally, which is expected to bring together APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across the North Central zone.
Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central Governors’ Forum, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, attended the strategic stakeholders’ meeting alongside the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe.
Other Nasarawa stakeholders at the meeting included APC stalwart, Dr. Aliyu Bello; the state APC Chairman and Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji.
The Lafia rally is being organized as part of grassroots mobilization efforts in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for a second term.
The event, scheduled for Saturday in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, is expected to attract party leaders, political stakeholders and supporters from across the North Central region and beyond.
The Abuja meeting provided an opportunity for party stakeholders to deliberate on preparations and coordination ahead of the anticipated gathering in Lafia.
