Wadada Defends Tinubu’s Administration, Says Only ‘Open Enemy’ Would Deny Its Achievements

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, has defended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying only an “open enemy” would deny the achievements recorded by the federal government since assuming office in May 2023.

Wadada made the remarks at the APC presidential campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where party leaders and supporters gathered to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

He maintained that despite the economic challenges facing the country, the Tinubu administration had recorded notable progress, particularly in economic growth, infrastructure development and the capital market.

The senator argued that improvements in key economic indicators demonstrated that the government’s policies and reforms were beginning to yield results.

He also pointed to ongoing infrastructure projects across the country as evidence of the administration’s commitment to national development.

Wadada’s remarks formed part of the APC’s broader campaign message in Lafia which centred on highlighting the achievements of the Tinubu administration and urging Nigerians to support the President for another term in office.

The Lafia rally also provided an opportunity for the party to strengthen its political presence in Nasarawa State and rally supporters behind its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Wadada defended the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms, arguing that the policies are necessary to reposition the Nigerian economy for sustainable growth and development.
