A prominent political figure in Nasarawa State Hon. Ibrahim Hamza, the Karfen Dawakin Lafian Bare- Bari has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for openly declaring his preferred successor for the 2027 governorship election.
Governor Sule today signaled his support for Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, a serving senator, as his favored candidate to succeed him. The move has sparked discussions across political circles in the state, with supporters describing it as a bold step toward ensuring continuity in governance.
Hon. Ibrahim Hamza who is a former PDP scribe and former state House of Assembly member also praised the governor’s transparency, noting that the endorsement helps provide clarity and direction for party stakeholders. He added that such a move could foster unity within the APC and give the party ample time to consolidate support ahead of the election.
He also congratulated Senator Wadada on what he described as his “anointment,” expressing confidence in his capacity to build on the achievements of the Sule administration. According to him, Wadada’s legislative experience and political reach position him as a strong contender for the governorship seat.
Similarly, Hon. Hamza echoed these sentiments, congratulating Wadada and pledging his support toward ensuring APC’s victory in 2027. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and urged stakeholders to rally behind the endorsed candidate.
