Baraden Nasarawa reassures Wadada of his support, entire fatan Alheri structure

Baraden Nasarawa assured Senator Aliyu Wadada of his personal support, alongside that of his family and the Fatan Alheri political structure, during a courtesy visit held in Lafia on Thursday night, reaffirming calls for unity and continued political harmony ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nasarawa State.
The assurance came when the 2027 Nasarawa State gubernatorial aspirant, Senator Aliyu Wadada, visited Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Muhammed, Baraden Nasarawa, at his residence in Project Quarters, Lafia. The visit was described as both cordial and politically significant, coming at a time of heightened consultations within the state’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Baraden Nasarawa expressed appreciation for the visit, noting its importance in strengthening political relationships and fostering stability within the state’s leadership circle. He reaffirmed his commitment to stand by the decision of Governor Abdullahi Sule, while pledging full support for the governor’s preferred candidate in the upcoming APC primaries and the 2027 elections.
He emphasized that despite political alignments and emerging interests, all stakeholders remain members of one political family with a shared responsibility to promote the development of Nasarawa State. He further urged continued cooperation among leaders, stressing that leadership is a trust that requires humility, inclusiveness, and respect.
Earlier in the visit, Senator Wadada commended Baraden Nasarawa for what he described as his maturity and statesmanship in navigating recent political developments. He referred to him as a brother and respected leader from the same zone, and appealed for the support of his structure, including the Fatan Alheri group, in advancing his governorship ambition.
The Senator also noted that his visit was intended to appreciate Baraden Nasarawa’s role in promoting peace and unity, describing such engagements as essential for strengthening political cohesion ahead of the 2027 elections.
The meeting ended on a warm and friendly note, with both leaders exchanging goodwill and reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, unity, and the progress of Nasasarwa state.
