GOV. SULE INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, DISTRIBUTES VEHICLES TO SUPPORT GROUPS

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has inaugurated his senatorial campaign council for the 2027 general polls.

Inaugurating the 16-man campaign council in Akwanga, the headquarters of Nasarawa North, on Saturday, Governor Sule urged them to demonstrate leadership, discipline and values in the mobilization of the grassroots for the race to win the forthcoming polls.

He enjoined the team to focus on its mandate which is considered to be results-driven, people-focused and issue-based devoid of acrimony and discrimination.

Engr. Sule emphasized the essence of responsive leadership that reflects accountability, development, quality representation and harmonious co-existence, expressing his determination to ensure inclusiveness and growth in the zone.

Giving an overview of the campaign council, the Director-General of the A. A. Sule Campaign Council, Hon. Bala Moses commended the governor for reposing unstinting confidence in them to steer his campaign bid, adding that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would emerge victorious at all levels.

He noted that the council which constitutes of highly revered grassroots politicians, sectoral experts, experienced technocrats and administrators is built on the right footing to match to victory and deliver good governance to the zone.

The event was attended by members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the three local government areas of Wamba, Nasarawa Eggon and Akwanga.

Meanwhile, the governor commissioned his campaign office along Keffi Road in Akwanga and distributed campaign vehicles to the council and various support groups.

The campaign council is made up of Sen. Philip Gyunka as Chairman, Timothy Anjide as Chairman Advisory Committee, Hon. Moses John as Director-General, Hon. Sani Yanga as Deputy Director-General, Aliyu Safiyanu as Secretary, Adamu Tanko Umar as Director (Admin and Finance), Mukhtar Wakeel as Director (Media and Publicity), Joseph Ancho as Director (Planning, Research and Strategy), Gen. Iliyasu Abbah Rtd as Director (Security, Intelligence and Risk Management), Dr. Muhammad Kassim as Director (Youth Mobilization), Dr. Justina Kotso as Director (Women Mobilisation), Shagari Danjuma as Director (Political Mobilization), Nasiru Kwarai as Director (Stakeholders and Elders Advisory Forum), Barr. Mbeto Gideon as Director (Legal Services and Compliance), Danjuma Garba as Director (Operations and Logistics), Hon. Yusuf Musa as Director (Special Duties), coordinators of electoral wards and local government areas.
