Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has expressed profound gratitude following a condolence visit by His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, Emir of Lafia, and Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo, the Andoma of Doma, over the passing of his stepmother, Hajiya Aisha Danyaya.
The senator described the visit as deeply comforting during a difficult period for his family, noting that the presence, prayers, and words of encouragement from the traditional rulers reflected genuine compassion and solidarity.
Speaking after the visit, Senator Wadada said he was honoured to receive the royal fathers and appreciated their fatherly support in mourning the loss of his beloved stepmother.
He stated that the show of sympathy and unity from respected traditional leaders and well-wishers had strengthened his family as they continue to grieve.
Senator Wadada also offered prayers for the repose of the deceased, asking Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant Hajiya Aisha Danyaya eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
He further prayed for divine blessings upon all those who have stood by the family through prayers, support, and acts of kindness during the mourning period.
The condolence visit highlighted the enduring bond between community leaders, traditional institutions, and public office holders in times of grief and reflection.
