
Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has pledged to improve the welfare of citizens across Nasarawa State through inclusive governance, grassroots participation, and sustainable development initiatives under his “HEARTS Agenda.”
Wadada made the promise during an interface with critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obi Local Government Area as part of his ongoing statewide consultation tour aimed at engaging party faithful and communities across the state.
The meeting brought together present and former political office holders, party leaders, and key stakeholders from Obi LGA for discussions on the political future and development of Nasarawa State.
The Senator was accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe; Rt. Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba; Dr. Ahmed Musa Mohammed, popularly known as Baraden Nasarawa; the Executive Chairman of Obi Local Government Area, Hon. Isa Mohammed Sani; Senator Salihu Hussaini Egyegbola; Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu; Hon. Sonny Agassi; Hon. David Moyi, Commissioner for Lands, as well as members of the Senator Wadada Campaign Council.
Speaking during the engagement, Wadada presented his scorecard as Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District and outlined his developmental blueprint for the state tagged the “Wadada HEARTS Agenda.”
According to him, the agenda is designed to promote unity, progress, inclusiveness, and sustainable development across all parts of Nasarawa State.
He stressed the need for collective leadership and stronger party unity, noting that meaningful development can only be achieved through collaboration among stakeholders and active participation of the grassroots.
Wadada also said his consultations across the state were aimed at building consensus and strengthening relationships with communities and stakeholders ahead of future political engagements.
Party leaders and stakeholders at the meeting commended the Senator for sustaining consultations with the people and reaffirmed their commitment to the unity and progress of the APC in Obi Local Government Area.
