Wadada Pledges People-Oriented Governance, Bags Traditional Title in Daddare

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has reiterated his commitment to people-oriented governance and inclusive leadership aimed at promoting unity, peace, and sustainable development across Nasarawa State.
The Senator made this known during a royal visit to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Balarabe Sa’eed Muhammad Alhassan IV, the Sangarin Daddare, as part of his ongoing statewide tour to engage with communities and strengthen ties with traditional institutions.
Speaking during the visit, Senator Wadada emphasized the need for collective responsibility and governance that prioritizes the welfare and aspirations of the people. He noted that his “Wadada Hearts Agenda” is focused on building a greater and more prosperous Nasarawa State through policies and programmes that directly impact citizens at the grassroots.
The lawmaker also presented his scorecard at the National Assembly, highlighting his contributions and efforts toward the development of the state and the wellbeing of his constituents.
In recognition of his leadership qualities, dedication to the people, and contributions to the development of Nasarawa State, the traditional ruler conferred on him the title of “Magayakin Daddare.”
The event attracted several top political figures and dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe; Rt. Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba; Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, the Baraden Nasarawa; Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu; Senator Salihu Hussaini Egyegbola; Hon. Sonny Agassi; Commissioner for Lands, Hon. David Moyi; and Hon. Danbala Al-Makura, among others.
The visit further strengthened the relationship between Senator Wadada and traditional institutions, while underscoring the critical role of traditional rulers in promoting peace, stability, and grassroots development across the state.
