Wadada Suspends Gov’ship Consultations, Returns Home for APC Reps Primary

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada on Saturday participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election at his ward, following the party’s directive for members seeking elective positions.
Wadada, who is currently consulting stakeholders across Nasarawa state over his governorship ambition, temporarily suspended the ongoing consultations to return to his ward and take part in the primary exercise.
Speaking at the venue, the senator reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the APC, stressing that party supremacy remains paramount in all political activities.
He noted that as a disciplined party member, it was necessary for him to comply with the directives of the party leadership and actively participate in the primary election process.
Supporters and party faithful who gathered at the ward commended Wadada for what they described as his respect for party structure and democratic processes within the APC.
The primary election was conducted peacefully amid tight security and the presence of party officials and electoral observers.
