Wadada Returns To Osu Agwada Palace, Again Seeks For Royal Blessings

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Sunday continued his statewide consultation tour with a visit to the palace of the Osu Agwada, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Obagu, where he sought royal blessings and support.
The visit forms part of the senator’s ongoing engagements with stakeholders and traditional institutions across Nasarawa State.
Speaking during the visit, Senator Wadada recalled that he had earlier visited the palace in 2023 during his campaign for the Senate seat, where the royal father offered him prayers and support. According to him, the monarch had assured him that beyond the Senate, he would continue to bless and support him for any higher responsibility, especially in honour of his late father, Danyaya.
The senator noted that his return to the palace was to once again seek the blessings of the traditional ruler, this time not for the Senate, but for a greater responsibility ahead.
“I came back to seek more blessings, not for the office of the Senate, but for a higher responsibility,” Wadada said.

Apart from blessing Wadada and offering prayers to Almighty Allah to make him the governor of Nasarawa state, Osu Agwada, in recognition of his contributions and growing relationship with the people of Agwada, he also conferred on Senator Wadada the traditional title of “Eyimutu” of Agwada.
The event attracted community leaders, political associates, and supporters who gathered at the palace to welcome the senator and his entourage.

Senator Wadada was however accompanied on the visit Agwada by several prominent personalities, including Hon. Agbawu Mek Agbawu; the Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government Area, Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu; Dr. Mustapha Galadima; Hon. Musa Saidu Gude; Hon. Mohammed Isimbabi; Hon. Onarigu Onah Kana; Hon. Baba Ali; Engr. Mohammed Wada Yahaya; Hon. Raphael Dogara Sa’aka; and Hon. Emmanuel Bako.
