Senator Wadada Resumes Legislative Duties at the Red Chamber After Weekend Engagements

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, who represents Nasarawa West Senatorial District, today resumed his legislative duties at the Senate following a busy weekend marked by significant social and community engagements in Nasarawa State.
The lawmaker returned to the Red Chamber in Abuja after participating in a series of activities aimed at strengthening ties with traditional institutions and constituents across his senatorial district.
One of the highlights of his engagements was his attendance at the grand celebration marking the 70th birthday anniversary of the Emir of Lafia, yesterday. The event attracted prominent dignitaries from across the country, including political leaders, traditional rulers, business executives, and members of the diplomatic community, who gathered to honour the monarch’s remarkable contributions to peace, development, and cultural preservation in Nasarawa State.
During the celebration in Lafia, Senator Wadada joined other well-wishers in paying tribute to the Emir, commending his decades of exemplary leadership and commitment to the unity and progress of the Lafia Emirate and the state at large.
The senator also used the opportunity to engage with community leaders, stakeholders, and constituents, discussing issues of public interest and reaffirming his commitment to delivering quality representation and sustainable development projects across Nasarawa West.
Upon his return to the National Assembly on Tuesday, Senator Wadada resumed participation in legislative proceedings, committee engagements, and deliberations on matters affecting the nation.
