Wadada Urges Perseverance, Unity as He Hosts APC Aspirants from Last Party Primaries in Western Zone

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has urged aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who participated in the party’s last primaries to remain steadfast in their political journey, emphasizing that political success is built upon perseverance, patience, and unwavering commitment to a noble cause.
The senator made the remarks while hosting APC aspirants from the Western Senatorial Zone who contested in the party’s last primaries, under the leadership of the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, in what observers described as a significant demonstration of leadership, statesmanship, and commitment to party unity.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Wadada noted that not securing a party ticket should never be viewed as personal failure, stressing that every aspirant who invested time, resources, and energy in advancing the party contributed meaningfully to strengthening democracy and promoting good governance in Nasarawa State.
He commended the aspirants for their sacrifices during the primary election process and assured them that their efforts were appreciated and would not be forgotten.
According to the senator, the progress and development of Nasarawa State can only be achieved when political leaders and stakeholders place the interests of the people above personal ambitions. He therefore called on party members to remain united and focused on the collective goal of building a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive state.
Senator Wadada also reassured the aspirants of his continued support, describing loyalty, dedication, and hard work as virtues that would eventually yield positive rewards. He expressed confidence that Allah would not neglect those who strive sincerely and remain committed to the service of humanity and the advancement of the party.
The meeting reflected the senator’s vision of inclusive leadership, where every contributor is valued regardless of political outcomes. By bringing together aspirants from the last APC primaries, he underscored the importance of political cohesion and demonstrated that political relevance extends beyond securing party tickets to include sacrifice, service, and commitment to the people.
Political observers have praised the gesture, describing it as a reflection of Senator Wadada’s maturity, humility, and capacity for greater responsibilities. They noted that at a time when many politicians distance themselves from supporters after political contests, his decision to encourage and appreciate fellow party aspirants has further enhanced his reputation as a leader who values people and prioritizes unity.
The gathering concluded with renewed calls for solidarity among APC members and a shared commitment to advancing the development agenda of Nasarawa State through cooperation, inclusiveness, and service-oriented leadership.
