Hold Me Accountable, Wadada Declares in Akwanga as He Reaffirms His HEARTS Agenda

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has said he is presenting his HEARTS Agenda and legislative scorecard for public scrutiny to demonstrate confidence in the practicality of his plans and to allow the people of Nasarawa State to hold him accountable for their implementation if elected governor.
Wadada, who represents Nasarawa West Senatorial District and is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, made the declaration during a strategic meeting with APC aspirants and candidates from Nasarawa North Senatorial District held in Akwanga yesterday.
Addressing party faithful, the senator reaffirmed his commitment to transparent, accountable and people-centred leadership, urging members and the wider public to critically examine both his record in the Senate and the policy blueprint contained in the HEARTS Agenda.
According to him, the agenda outlines his vision for inclusive development, improved infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment and enhanced security across Nasarawa State.
The meeting attracted party leaders, stakeholders, aspirants, candidates and grassroots supporters from the five local government areas that make up Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
Observers described the large turnout and enthusiastic participation as a demonstration of the district’s continued support for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections. They noted that the presence of party stalwarts, elected officials, traditional and community leaders, youth groups, women leaders and supporters reflected growing unity within the party in the zone.
Participants also pointed to the APC’s victory in the recent Nasarawa North Senatorial by-election as further evidence of the party’s dominance in the district. Political analysts said the by-election outcome, together with the strong attendance at the Akwanga meeting, reinforced Nasarawa North’s reputation as one of the APC’s strongest support bases.
Stakeholders at the meeting pledged continued support for the party and expressed confidence that the APC would build on its achievements and secure further electoral victories. They urged members to remain united, intensify grassroots mobilisation and sustain the momentum ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The Akwanga meeting is among the series of consultations by Wadada as he continues to engage party members and stakeholders across Nasarawa State, presenting his vision and seeking wider support for his governorship bid.
